I have always used deodorant. I don't sweat much but am incredibly conscious about smells (it's probably my sharpest one). My choice of perfumes is evidence that I can be quite selective. Good perfumes are one of the few things I am fussy about.
I started off with the Vasenol cream-based one. It was soft, had a warm long-lasting scent and I didn't have any problems. As Vasenol discontinued those and moved on to roll-ons and sprays I was forced to take one of the options. I did not go with the spray, given its ecological impact.
Years down the line, jumping to my perimenopausal 40s (maybe related), I started having little lumps appearing under my armpits. And you know what happens then: overthinking about the causes, changing diet, even done a mammography! I started trying other mainstream brands but found that the lumps kept appearing.
Up until 5, or 6 years ago, I decided to try a brand that was only available online. Despite my hesitation in trusting an unknown brand that was a little more expensive. I still went for it, and I'm glad I did. Wild has expanded the products to shower gels, hand wash and lip balms and I have since seen Wild in Tesco isles too, meaning they are growing and becoming more accessible.
The first time we order we get to choose a case for our deodorant (because it is reusable, you don't just chuck it) and they have a nice selection of patterns and colours that you will love.
The scents are amazing and they come in a range extensive enough that we can't get bored. I have a very set range of scents that I like, so I tend to stick to those, but please feel free to go Wild!!!
